Okay, shall we starten? Hallo. Hallo, everyone. Till, Ahmad and Miguel from IC Interface Culture Kunst-Uni, Master's Students. And maybe you can start with them from Germany second semester interface cultures and well the first thing that we came up or the first idea we had as a students here interface quarters as you may know as you may know, Interface Culture is a master program that is international. So the language that we use there is English, it's not German. So with this idea of language and accessibility, we wanted to think about how was our relationship with the city of Linz when we arrived in the first semester, in the first months, which difficulties we face. So, because we, for example, Ahmed and me, we are foreigners, like, for example, I come from Spain, I don't know how to deal with this bureaucratic system that LINZ requires you to register into the services. Access to information about the services, access to information about the services. And also how to access, for example, all these cultural systems that are surrounding the city or live, that is very rich, but maybe for a foreign person is not affordable yet because you are missing some information so what we wanted to create is a social platform to make this more accessible and here we're as as Miguel said actually it's also for me was like this I came from Egypt by ground architecture and it's really involved i was really involved in the last years in the community development section projects and i uh this is where i came from from my experience and this is uh when i came here to leans actually i faced the same problems with the registration the access to information and also the inclusivity of the scene of art in wien's which is somehow sometimes in german language only and funding for artists and how they can like be included in the scene more and yeah so as michael said we came up with the idea social platform that simulate the the experience of Leans for foreigners and newcomers so they can really go through it in a game, in a safe environment, that they can know where and how to start and what they should know about Leans and how they get involved in the community of Leans easily. So we are trying here to make a gamifying of Linz city, make it more Linzable as we are saying here and get to know and promoting the right to access and inclusivity among residents or new residents of Linz city. Here I opened what is already on the Magistrate's website, web page. It's a 3D model of all of Linz and we were hoping to use this or create our own 3D world that can be accessed via hopefully an app, maybe even the internet and then based yeah on the internet exactly and then the users could similar to here navigate it but as a video game so a simple thing people understand they can walk around this place as if they walk around in real and then through this gamified experience uh redefine what linds like means and rediscover linds to see all of the different uh cultural institutions the culture fine for example here it's it's nice it's a perfect platform it by cope but then also cope is a good example they have all of these resources but nothing is in English they have this it's great but you have to really like okay I'm here I want to see this okay I might not be interested in this or that and it's like like the things are there the information but there's no way to really organically go through them or interact with them and this is the point from what we are trying to do here to just like give give like a safe environment to people who's new in Leans, to experience Leans in a very easy way and also like accessible for them in their languages, what is what to say here. And also like to like go through these steps without like hustling a lot, because for me, Miguel, maybe also Till, he came from Germany when we come here to Australia, like we get to asking our colleagues at the department how to get to do this, how to do this, or how to reach this cultural platform, or how to reach this exhibition scene in Leens. So I think this social platform of a gaming experience that would be safe and easy and enjoyable, I would say, and fun, to people go through Leens in a safe environment, in their language, accessible, easy, so they can know LEANS more better. And also they can involve in LEANS and enrich the scene of art in LEANS and get most of it. And they be part of this scene easily. So we are promoting the right of access and inclusivity through this gamifying experience and also like making this easy, more more sensible as we say. Yeah it's really like a smooth experience because also you could walk through Google Earth in or go on a walk but that is not accessible for anybody like not I uh i know many people that aren't very uh well with technology they will struggle with navigating google earth or googling for all of the information or even knowing that that information is out there and then somebody that isn't able to walk around or socialize they will never know about all of the events that are happening but everybody can move two thumbs on their phone and walk around a little virtual world and then hopefully even have fun exploring the city yeah because also in this way actually the information is is there is about to get to this information this is the hassle that everyone going through in leeds or maybe everywhere in this world so we thought about what if we put all of these in one platform so people can just play it like an easy game so they can really access all of this kind of information that's related to different kinds of like stakeholders or like partners or like big magnet points of Leeds or NGOs, educational organizations and also the government organizations and create a link between all of these layers to make it in one platform enjoyable, also informative and also accessible in a way. Maybe as a little example, you open the game for the first time and you're in the position of an international student or somebody that just moved into Linz and you get the quest to go from your apartment to the magistrate. Just to register as a resident and then to sort of take all of this bureaucracy also with insurance and turn it into a playful thing so like the Two polar opposites of bureaucracy and game to somehow combine them to make it Bridging the gap between all of these platforms that is already there and the city reach with it with it already so we are just here making this platform to bridge the gap and Making this like lost feeling less for people who's coming new to the city so they can get to this platform they can know where to stay from before they come they know how to register themselves how to get the access to the transportation uh to public service or like artists like exhibitions or events or whatsoever and also how to deal with bureaucracy. Maybe like in the game on their way to the magistrate they see a character that walks around and they're like, I just came from Schlot, there was a jazz event. Exactly, so this kind of like embedded characters that can talk to you, interact you, so it's like a Google Maps but with a new experience with the gamifying of the Google Maps experience already. So you can see one in front of the magistrate, tell you what you need exactly, when it's work, what kind of paper, the additional register and what's needed for this kind of like services there. And also you can see someone in front of maybe Ars Electronica saying to you, this is going to be event today. And you can really interact with this kind of like bots or like people there. And I think this is a way of people also, maybe we can let them like put the feedback about this so people can learn from it or like find easy way how to deal with it later. And yeah, this is our implementation. And for sustainability of this idea and also future expansion for other like bigger like ideas or like bigger version actually we are like intended to like partnership make partnership with like two players or stakeholders at the city of leeds so they are ensure the support all the time and give us that information updated so people can really rely on this platform not for just show information that it's not really interesting for them but it's also interacting with them. And I think that is that's it. Yeah. Thank you for listening to this idea. We've been working on it for, I think, the last year. For you it's already been a long project. And then, I think, in the next months we will realize that.
