A very warm welcome to the last evening of Sound Campus. My name is Lukas Jakob Löcke and I just want to make a short introduction for all of you who just came by now, that you know how we're going to start this first part of the program of today. how we're going to start this first part of the program of today. Because in the afternoon, between 3 and 5, 4 to 5 people were working during two hours to craft brand new tracks or beats or collages or whatsoever from samples. That project that usually happens in the Stadtwerkstatt goes by the name of Sample as That. And I'm very happy to host a very special listening session today in form of an improvised showcase that I will do right now. So just that you get the context of what will happen in this first half an hour of today's program. So the samples for today's session stem from people who are in the lineup of Sound Campus. They provided pieces of their productions and those artists today had two hours to craft from something that they never heard before, something completely new by sampling. And then I got this little USB drive and now I heard what they came up with for the first time and I had like 40-ish minutes to prepare a little live set and in the very personal but I think also fitting way of Sonic Fever I'm trying my best to go crazy on what I heard and give you a very good example of how sampling could be used to make music. Not only sampling, but it's mostly that art form. So now I stop talking and try to show you, on the one hand, some of the original samples, some of the tracks that happened to be produced today in two hours, and some of my own interpretations and turn on both. So happy to entertain you for 25-ish minutes now. And I'm very glad that I'm part of the program and of Sound Campus with Samplestead for the second time. Thanks to you guys for doing everything and providing such a beautiful area but also all the artists that show up. A very very high quality. Thank you so much. Thanks Reni for the technique. Now I'm done. To my left, two cyclists whisk by. They hear words fleeting, fragments in the wind. The hum of engines waves upon me. A gentle awareness. I aim harmony. One by one, the white foam dissolves into my embrace. I depict the beginning of life and I always, eventually, land in the bosom of the Black Sea. Thank you.
