Music In our tissue-based research at the Department of Pathology, we have so far only worked with two-dimensional images. In Touching Thoughts, we are exploring new ways of visualizing cells and cell clusters. We are adding another dimension to our perspective. Using state-of-the-art technology, we are trying to visualize tissue that we normally cut into wafer-thin slices to view them under the microscope in three dimensions, a completely new way of visualization for us. This also changes our view of things. It is as if for the first time we see the world as a sphere and no longer as a flat disk. We've invited several artists to join us in exploring this new form of visualization. Be attentive to the movement of samples, the choreography of skilled hands, careful gestures, various protocols and devices around the lab. I'm looking at the relationship of Pathology and the Institute of Anatomy in collaboration with servus.at. Thank you.
