I arrived in Austria. Oh, who here has personally experienced the loneliness pandemic? I think everybody of us have had some experience with this. And when I arrived in Austria, coming from South Africa, a very warm and welcoming place, I experienced it firsthand. And this moved me deeply to create a solution for this. The experience here wasn't that great initially. So what I want to do is I want to create a community where we can all connect and meet people and connect. So where every arrival finds a community. So the one back please. Back, back. Yeah. So look around this room. We have brilliant pictures using tech to solve every problem. But the future will hold a lot more solutions that are more human-based and human-orientated. So I look to give a solution to this that gives more human connection. Our hostel will serve as a landing space, a soft landing space for people to connect and meet in a more organic way. We are targeting students that come to Lens, 24,000 students every year, student Julia, we have Maria who comes to meet culture and connection but she just meets a room and we are looking for people like Alex a remote worker who has network but no personal network in the place so we are looking to have a connection for those So, these people have all things in common. They come to our place, they connect, they speak to each other, and they sit across from each other in a room where they can sit across and have a conversation and have a meal together. We don't just sell beds. We engineer connection. The old model of normal hostels or hotels is a static front desk with people that just let you into the room, and there's a hallway. Great. Our anchor model, Community Catalyst, has long-term residence, a community table, living room and of course a bed. We are designed for human connection. So we will offer workshops for upskilling. Every one of those will be worth valuing the social connection for people, for social ROI into the city. So every person that comes to our place and does some learning will get that. We will reduce learning costs for every person that comes into our place and works there. It normally would cost them 1,200 euros for the city per year to host those people and to look after them. We will give them a place to stay and those people will have a big saving of about 14,000 per person per year and subsidies cut our labour costs by 40 to 60%. There's a social return on investment of one euro spent gives them four euros fifty back. So our empowering partnerships with this would be social impact wise AMS Charitas focus Ilfer the festivals Oz electronic us plus spectacle and then we plug into existing economy here in the tabak fabric area to Encourage those people to come to the Grand Garage and such This is not just optimism it's a proven point these This is not just optimism, it's a proven point. These proofs of concepts already exist. There's a 200 million euro hostel in India called Zostel, and other ones as well. So we show you those communities to empower us into the future. And you can look at our website here, it explains a bit more. Thank you very much.
