Durch das Mittel der Wiederholung wird dieser gleichsam "eingefroren". Dies geschieht mit minimalen Mitteln wie Licht und Bewegung und verwandelt die ganze Szenerie: Eine große Glasscheibe teilt den Raum bis auf einen schmalen Durchgang ab. Eine stetig an die Scheibe klopfende Glühbirne erzeugt ein dynamisches Schattenbild von einer sich kurz öffnenden Türe an der Wand. Das "Dazwischen" wird sichtbar. Es geht wie in vielen von Basualdos irritierenden, fragilen "Situationen" um Wahrnehmungsphänomene, um den schmalen Zwischenraum zwischen Realität und Unterbewusstem.
