Since 2018, Fernando and Gabriela have carried out a series of collaborations that explore the distance between their respective locations. Using sound and transdisciplinary methods, this dialogical exchange has led to projects such as (des)fase, Dunkelkammer Sessions and Urdimbre. They also make music together when they meet in the same country.

Spat Lembo

Spat Lembo is a duo by Filippo Gillono and Paolo Possidente on guitar, percussions and various electronic devices. Their research condenses around the concept of loss of control as a practice of improvisation. Spat Lembo seeks a completely different approach in the uniqueness of their traditional instruments, with a feedback resonance implemented in the spectrum of the acoustic guitar and snare drum, and an extremely close-up view when it comes to sound capture techniques.
