September 2014 Die einstmals klaren Grenzen zwischen den Genres und Spielarten der digitalen Animation haben sich aufgelöst, ihre Erweiterungstendenzen sind unverkennbar. Bei der Fachtagung Expanded Animation tauscht sich eine internationale Community von Studierenden, Lehrenden, KünstlerInnen und TheoretikerInnen über die Entgrenzungen, Randgebiete sowie über Trends und künftige Entwicklungen in der Computeranimation aus. Zur Sprache und auf den Screen kommen dabei insbesondere experimentelle und hybride Formen in einem breiten und interdisziplinären Feld von Kunst, Industrie, Forschung und Wissenschaft.
