Im Festivaltrailer für CROSSING EUROPE 2022 sitzt ein Mann inmitten einer artifiziellen Plastikwelt und starrt apathisch in seinen Fernseher – und der schaut zurück. Ein Wechselspiel der Perspektiven, bei dem die Positionen von Betrachter und Betrachtetem zunehmend verschwimmen. Immer wieder reißen Bildstörungen das Publikum von einem Film zum nächsten und irgendwo dazwischen geht dem Protagonisten sein Gesicht verloren – wäre er doch einfach ins Kino gegangen.
