Is a danish trombone player, improviser and composer. The acoustic sound of her instrument amplified creates an output that draws inspiration from drone and noise music. What is normally not hearable is presenting itself, movements, metal and breath becomes a swirling part of her compositions. Changing organic patterns are emerging, tiny sounds becomes brutally clear as well as the range of overtones of the instrument.
She is one of five cofounders of the Copenhagen based art collective eget værelse founded in 2010. Apart from her work as a solo artist she performs and composes in groups like the notorious four piece noise rock band Selvhenter and Nina Garcia & Maria Bertel duo improvised noise outfit

Since 2020, at the very end of the first lock-down, Nina Garcia aka Mariachi and Arnaud Rivière, two Parisians artists & activists joined their sonic forces in Autoreverse around a bunch of speakers to build a music as immediate as incandescent.
Attacks without low-cut, amplified scrap metal, caught feedbacks, provoked chances, melodies which invite themselves but do not remain for dinner, rhythmic sketches and assumed beauty zones, constructed and cracked matters, counter- points to the line... backwards and straight ahead: file under high energy improv-noise of today !
In its three years of existence, Autoreverse has challenged its certainties on numerous international and European stages: Fimav (Canada), Angelica (Italy), Musica (Strasbourg), Instants Chavirés (Montreuil), Static Age Records (USA)….

Nina Garcia
Since 2015, Nina Garcia has been conducting research and creation work around the electric guitar, halfway between improvised music and noise. Her device is reduced to a minimum: a guitar, a pedal, an amp with which she carves the sound and digs into the chaos to bring out the unheard of. A duo more than a solo, which stuns by this mixture of technical mastery and total freedom. A convergence of wildness and tenderness with her instrument, a tense body to body between two vibrant souls for a music and a choreography with raw poetry.

Arnaud Rivière
Using a rudimentary electroacoustic device built around a repaired turntable (pick-up), a prepared- mixer and other primitive equipement that need manipulation - to make it brief -, Arnaud Rivière practises free improvisation, playing solo and through collaborations since the late 90’s.
