Europe Day 2016 - A theater evening in Vienna

How will Europe look like in 2057? The Schauspielhaus Vienna presented drafts of five dramatists with participation of students from the Max Reinhardt Seminar. The Audience and jury awarded Miroslava Svolikova with her text »Diese Mauer fasst sich selber zusammen« (This wall recapitulates itself) as the winning author. Svolikova will now prepare a full play with support from the Hans Gratzer Stipendium 2016. The premiere is scheduled for 2017 in Schauspielhaus Vienna. The texts of the five authors are the result of a workshop under the guidance of the dramatist Falk Richter.

EUROPA 2057 is a production of the Schauspielhaus in cooperation with the Information Office of the European Parliament and the Representation of the European Commission in Austria as well as Literar Mechana.
