For today’s talk the At home with… studio opens its door to Emiko Ogawa, a Japanese curator and artist based in Linz, Austria. She is Head of Prix Ars Electronica which is known as the world’s most time-honored media arts competition organized by Ars Elecronica, a cultural international institute in Linz. She has worked for the launch of the new Ars Electronica Center in 2008 and since then she has curated the exhibition for the Ars Electronica Center, Ars Electronica Festival and Ars Electronica Export. She is also involved in Ars Electronica’s Art Thinking education program, which discusses art, technology, society and the intersection of human nature. She is in charge of the creative direction of the media art group h.o, where she has created art works and workshop tools that encourage intuitive experiences. Her anonymous human drawing (Marusan) has been used for signage at the Ars Electronica Center, triathlon posters, and many more.
